How many people will go to the bank and get a mortgage or loan and accept the terms and conditions they are offered without even knowing what they mean?
It surprises me how many people do not understand what "term" or "amortization" means on a mortgage. "Closed Mortgage" and Open Mortgage" are also terms that are not understood. It can be a costly mistake to not know what they mean.
